Health Benefits with Dance games

Well as a lot of you know DDR/ITG/PIU and any other dance game you can think of makes you use your feet. Of course you move your feet to the arrows and the music. I'v been playing for almost 4yrs and its really great exercise, i've been out of highschool for a while already and im really not into different forms of exercise being that I was never into sports or anything like that. Playing i'v noticed i'v kept a steady weight since I got out of highschool not majorly gaining a lot. I think the better you get in the game the more calories you tend to lose when you play the harder songs, more sweat=more calories burned. Although I know a lot of people think its a waste of time it could really help a lot of people with weight issues. I know a girl who lost 60 pounds playing the game after having a baby, it took her some time but she lost a lot of weight playing the game. Take that as insight for yourself perhaps you can get back into shape with a simple rhythm game as DDR.
